Just started reading Red Rover. When I read that Calli “More often than not . . . shop[s] at Mark’s Work Wearhouse” I knew she was a kindred spirit. Looking forward to the rest of the book.

Just finished Red Rover (left review on Amazon UK) and starting Oranges and Lemons and will read that while I wait for “In the Skin of a Lion” which I ordered after your recommendation…

I finished reading ‘Oranges and Lemons’ not long ago and wanted to let you know that I loved the book! Mystery is not my favourite genre – I often start a mystery novel and put it away before reaching the end.

However, in ‘Oranges and Lemons’, I devoured the book in only two sittings. The story was fast-paced and entertaining, but the characters are what brought the book to life.

Unlike other mystery series (I won’t name names, but there are plenty out there with very “cutesy” themes), ‘Oranges and Lemons’ kept me interested the whole way through. Not too much dialogue; not too much action. Just the right amount of everything. I look forward to reading the other Calli Barnow books.

    Thanks for the great writing!
